Sky Marine House Ltd. is seeking an accounts and administration manager, offering USD 700–1,000 per month alongside accommodation, local expense support and employer-funded travel. October 30, 2026: Ghana-based seafood sourcing and distribution company Sky Marine House Ltd. has announced an opening for a Manager – Accounts & Administration, offering an overseas opportunity for experienced commerce graduates willing to relocate to West Africa. Based at the harbour of Tema, the company sources seafood internationally and supplies wholesalers across Ghana and beyond. The position combines branch accounting with commercial oversight and day-to-day administration. Commercial Experience Central to the Role The company is seeking a B.Com graduate with proficiency in Tally and at least five years of relevant experience in commercial operations, accounts or a similar role. Responsibilities include managing cash and cheque deposits, monitoring banking transactions and coordinating with bank officials. The appointed manager will also review customer ledgers, credit limits, sales reports and selling prices. Commercial documentation forms another part of the assignment, including checking or preparing sales invoices, waybills and delivery notes. Inventory responsibilities cover physical stock inspections, report monitoring and follow-up on discrepancies. The manager will assist with VAT return submissions, coordinate with auditors, maintain employee records and safeguard import and business documents. A Junior Cashier will report to the position. Although sound accounting knowledge is essential, the role does not require finalisation of accounts. Salary Package Includes Local Living Support According to the employer’s stated hiring terms, the position carries a monthly foreign salary of USD 700–1,000, depending on the candidate’s profile. An additional local salary or allowance will support food expenses. The company will provide shared accommodation, utilities, data and commuting by company car, alongside a resident visa or work visa. Employer-funded ticket fares will cover travel when joining and when taking vacation. Long-Term Relocation a Key Requirement The employer has emphasised the importance of candidates having a clear intention to settle and work in Ghana for the long term. The stated terms include a six-month probation period, three months’ notice and a required four-year stay. Leave is described as available once every 18 months, with vacation ticket fare covered by the company. The opening illustrates how accounting roles within international trading businesses can extend beyond bookkeeping to encompass stock control, customer credit monitoring, documentation and administrative supervision. For the selected professional, the assignment will require both financial discipline and readiness to manage operational responsibilities in an overseas business environment.
